Hi everybody, pardon me for just dropping in - I will write a few introductory lines somewhen later. Here is my first contribution to SPFLite forumes, as I claim to be the one who orignally had the idea for "color themes", now realized in the latest release - I had dealt with George on this via mail only. So here is my colour setting - I tried to make it look as close as I colud to the old IBM 7-color-terminal, and the default SPF settings. Hence it's name. Enjoy. I have a (few) couple of other on a different PC, which I will post later ... Best Regards, Matt Attachments:IBM3179.STF (397 B)

Matt: Nice to see the posting. When you suggested this, I thought yes, I know the feeling, you want to experiment with new colors, but there was no easy way to 'go back' if you gave up on some theme and wanted back to your old one. Saving as theme files and posting here also make it easy for any other users to try things out and experiment.
I hope other users contribute as well, I'd like to see what people have done. I know the default colors SPFLite ships with are far from inspiring.

Hello George, Nice to meet you here. Hello everyone else, as promised: here's three more THEME-settings/files if you like to play around. Just put them into your ...SPFLITE/Themes folder (one level up from the Profiles folder, then down to "Themes"), use "Themes Load" Command. (don't forget to save your current settings with "Theme Create" before). I know it's not really "super productive", maybe just a starting point to see the effect, and to design your own favorite setting. You're welcome to share your's here. Note that the source highlighting (HILITE ON/OFF) overwrites most of the setting, the effects can best be seen in the filemanager or if you turn HILITE OFF (need to close and reopen the file to refresh - my experience). My attached themes - the filenames should say it all: "midnight hack" - imagine sitting in the front of your machine at 12:00pm or later, room all dark, fighting with a really bogus bug - that's the theme to choose. "sandy beach" - just the opposite - City is drowning in heat, 35 degrees Celsius, dust, thirst ... should meet that impression. "icy colours" - If you'd be a polar bear, you'd choose that one :-) Enjoy, everybody.
