I would like to continuously show my PF Key values on the bottom of an edit screen in a manner similar to ISPF under z/OS. I have read the user's manual and cannot see how I can do it. I'm sure there's a way to do it, but I guess I missed something.

mg34dan:
Hi, Its fairly simple.
First, for each PFK you want to be displayed, you have to specify what text you want to display. It does not have to be the same as the actual command string, it can be anything you prefer, as long as it's meaningful to you. This is dome by editing the PFK command string in the KEYMAP panel and inserting your desired string inside <...> brackets in front of the command. e.g. if you have a PFK defined as SAVE;END you could define it as <QUIT>Save;End
Second, go to Options -> Screen and locate the item '# K-Board help lines to show' and set it to the number of lines at the screen bottom you wish to dedicate to the display.
That's it.

Thank you very much. I'll try this over the weekend and let you know how it turns out.
As a new user, I'm sure I'll be having more 'How do I ...' questions as I spend more time with SPFLite.

George;
I followed your instructions and the PF Key display works exactly as expected. Again, thank you very much.

PS: I have another question which I will post after Labor Day. Until then, I will re-re-read the documentation and see if I can figure it out for myself.
