Temporary SUBMIT files are only deleted when they match the file pattern of SUB*_JOB*.TXT as documented in Primary Commands SUBMIT. This deletes all SUBRESULTS_-files but only those SUBMIT_-files created when submitting .TXT-files.
I think, a change vom 8.2 to 8.3 creates now files SUBMIT_JOB12345.xxx instead of SUBMIT_JOB12345.TXT
Btw: Docu in Primary Commands SUBMIT Description ~I,^I still names the files SUBMIT_JOB12345.TXT, whereas in "Working with the SUBMIT Command" it's correct SUBMIT_JOB12345.xxx
