There is an easy way at least to color the last line of multi-line comments It just requires a small change in
Currently start is used only to indicate the beginning char or string of comment
Please add another meaning to it -- beginning char or zero(start of line)
It is highly unlikely that somebody will need to mark as a comment string starting with 0
Then at least first and last lines of multi-line block can be colored like this: COMMENTn 7 /* */ -- comment the part of line from /* COMMENTn 7 0 */ -- comment line from the beginning to */
