I just installed SPFLite 7. On the top right, my SCROLL amount is set to PAGE by default. When I change it to HALF, I get the following message underneath it: Invalid scroll Amt. Re-establishing the previous value.
I really prefer to use HALF scrolling so I can focus on the code I'm working on on one page rather than half on one page and half on another. As a work-around, I set the scroll amount to 20, but HALF should be a valid scroll amount.

Now that's weird!!!!! If I type H by itself, it changes it to HALF and it works. But if I type HALF, I get an error message.
It works the same way if I try to change it back to page. Tabbing over, hitting ESC, and typing P changes it to page. But typing PAGE gives me an error message.
At least I can change it back and forth now, bleh.
BTW, I'm running Windoze 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 in case you need that bit of trivia to track the bug.
Thanks! :-)

Fred: Robert: OK, I've had a look. This whole area, for something so trivial, has been an ongoing pain for multiple releases. There IS a problem in there and I guess I'll just have to get in and re-write it once more. Thought the previous rewrite was bullet-proof. Ha!

Robert: Yes, that's probably the problem then. I have insert mode set on always by default. I hate accidentally typing over a long complex line of code because I meant to insert something and wasn't looking at what I was typing and didn't know insert mode had turned itself off. Distracted typing: ought'a be a crime, bleh. George: No software is bulletproof. No such thing. Especially something as complex as a programmer's editor. No hurry for me now that I know the quirks of the program, but other users might be scratching their heads.

Thanks for the keymap macro! Looks useful. I'll try it.
And does anyone still use actual 3270 terminals any more?
