I have used SPFLite for many years. My motherboard died and I am setting up a new computer. I tried to make my usual changes to KEYMAP, but nothing sticks. I make several changes (without DONE) and can go back to see that my other changes are still there. Press DONE, and nothing I put in works.
I edited SPFLite.KBD directly with Notepad. Saved changes. Exited. When back with Notepad and changes are still there. Started SPFLite, and the changes are gone. Windows 10 with the current SPFLite.
Thanks.

Rick: If you edited the KBD file and viewed it again via KEYMAP, then the KBD file you edited IS NOT the one SPFLite is using. The KBD file has a hash verification to prevent people altering it. I highly doubt you managed to "correct" the hash to match your changes.
It should be in \Users\You\Documents\SPFLite.
I can't picture what it might be, but I'm sure this is going to be a 'head-slapper'. Try deleting all copies of SPFLite.kbd and restarting.

Thanks, George. I renamed the original (.KBD) file. After SPFLite recreated it (as .Kbd) it works as expected. Blame it cosmic radiation or gremlins.

Glad you're moving forward again.
Gremlins are everywhere. Two days ago my Recent Files list started displaying all my Profile.INI files, even though the Recent FLIST was just fine. I chased it for a while, but nothing made sense. Did a system re-boot and all was well. Windows sometimes just goes out in left field for a smoke and everything goes squirrelly. We will always have these little stupidities.
