Migration to V10 worked fine, my favorite avrasm.AUTO-File with 9 SCHEMEs were perfectly converted. All my other .AUTO-files have other colors on SCHEME-number 3,4 and 5, so now I should change all other .AUTO-files. Or is there a way to run that initial conversation routine again ? That would also help to setup a 'new' installation with one of the sample AUTO-Files.
The Font-Size in the Tabs, Status-Line is now much larger then all other text. The Font Name & Pitch that I specify in "Options Screen" seems to have no effect on these special lines (Tabs,Status). Is there a way to use the same Font as all other text? (Yes, my eyes are not as good as before, but I use 125% size in windows ...)

Jo; Robert: 1. Font sizes ARE adjusted based on the Windows magnification settings. 2. Tab titles and Status bar text have never used the same font as the main edit screen. Regardless, you guys are unhappy, so I went into 125% mode to have a look. Yes, they're larger, but after all, that was my intention. Attached is an image of two SPFLite screens. The top is the 10.0.8287 release, the bottom is a test version. Images taken while running @ 125%. The test one has had the font reduced from 11 pt to 10 pt. Would that be more suitable? Please, it would be nice to receive feedback from other users as well. As to the tiny type size in many dialogs (particularly Options), that is very labor intensive change as all the SPFLite dialogs are hand-crafted, I do not have a visual designer available to make adjustments simple. It's days of soul destroying pixel counting, trial and error, "how does this look?", move that a bit left ... etc. iterations. I'm going to have to be in a great mood before tackling it, because I sure won't be afterward. George Attachments:

Yes, I like that 10pt test version, and I agree with Robert, only alter it if other users ask, not on my account. Jo

I use 125% on all Windows and noticed that only on Windows 10 ( not on Windows 7 ) the 11 pt are used .
I prefer also 10 pt as shown in v10.0.8290 .
Did you also notice that in FM Open Files (Empty) entries are for each open file in addtion to normal ?
Thanks

The THEME command is gone ? I rarely used them, but I prefer that old 3270 green with black background. So I created one .STF file for just in case. But a THEME LOAD on by 'brandnew' PC says "Unknown command: THEME"

Jo: Sorry, mea culpa. I didn't mention that THEME was gone. I did that at the very start of my changes and it didn't make it into the Change Log. My apologies. The old STF files just weren't really usable, and we never got any real feedback or interest from users (i.e. shared THEME's), but still, my fault.
If enough interest, I could add back an updated THEME command and filetype. Have to think up a new cmd name probably just to avoid confusion.

Mueh: I'm not sure what you're telling me. What do you mean by "entries are for each open file in addition to normal ?"

mueh: Very interesting. And easy to duplicate here, so it should be also easy to track down. I hardly ever use the Open FList, probably how it escaped my notice.

[Update]
Found it and corrected it for the next update release. As it turned out this was not a new bug introduced by V10 as it exists in the prior 8.5.8144 version as well.
