Just installed and started v10.2.19107 and find the STATE folder is now empty. Restored all 315 STATE-Files from recent save and after next SPFLITE start, the STATE folder is emptied again.

Jo: The only cleanup SPFLite does to the STATE folder is to remove those older than 180 days. Could you have some kind of system date problem? After you do a restore, could you check the dates of the files?
Otherwise I've no idea. Is anyone else seeing this?

George,Robert: My backup process saves all files below C:\Users\Jo\Documents\SPFLite and this also includes the STATE folder. So I created a testcase with only 10 files in my STATE folder with modificationdate today, yesterday, ... to see which files would be there after SPFLITE(v10.2.19107) start. And voila, all files survived. Then I copied the 315 saved .STATE files into the STATE folder and again started SPFLITE(v10.2.19107): But now, all 325 filed are gone, the STATE folder is empty again. New test: one file from today + 1 file older than 180 days: both files are deleted when at least one file is older than 180 days. So I think, when the STATE-file-cleanup process finds at least one outdated file, all files are deleted.

Jo: Unfortunately you are soooooo right!
A one byte typo ends up using the mask string in the delete rather that the specific filename that meets the criteria.
Ick! It's been in there a long time (not an excuse)
Corrected next release
