While you're still in fixit mode...
Take some data like this:
Enter 'CC' on line 000553 SELECT and another 'CC' on the next line (the excluded line marker) to copy lines 000553 to 000558 inclusive. Then place a destination line command wherever you like and press <ENTER>
The copy proceeds perfectly, but the 'CC' on the excluded line remains. I should add that is does not happen with 'MM' or 'RR'

Stefan: It may have been cosmetic, but you hit on an area that has been a PITA since day one of SPFLite. Determining when and where to remove line commands was one of the most difficult things to do, even amidst the already complex line command handling jungle.
I believe it is OK now, but in that area nothing is for certain. Watch for the next Beta that lists the fix.

Thx George, will do.
I'm away skiing in the Alps (France) for a week, so will be a few days before I can test.

Stefan: Enjoy the Alps. I can only dream of doing something like that (not that I was ever a winter activities person, despite living in Canada). Nowadays, with peripheral neuropathy basically destroying my legs, my exercise is going down the hall in our condo to the exercise room and hitting the bike or treadmill. Both of which are -- Whee! -- activities.
Take care.

George,
Thanks. I'm back from the Alps in one piece, albeit with a slightly aching knee, but that's to be expected these days. I guess I should go more often to develop a better technique!
Good news - beta version 23041 no longer leaves line commands on the "excluded lines" marker line.
Better news - that version also no longer creates multiple retained 'before' (B&) line commands, something I reported some months ago.
Two birds with one stone.

Yes, it was a more generalized fix requiring some changes to internal data structures. As I've said before, the line command handling is truly a jungle, still, even after 3 total re-writes over the years.
