MUEH: Your example INST U KEEP;=x how does that differ from INST U END
Is it that doing the =X creates the MRF list? I could make an MRF save part of END.
BTW - regardless of options, the _OPENLIST.TXT file is always created.

George: Yes this =x creates an MRF List . While END or CAN does an ALL END or CAN in FM . ( END does prompt you if EDIT/VIEW file is modified ) I just wanted to show that this command is usefull . I'm hapy as it is . From my undestanding the differce between END and CAN should be that CAN doesn't prompt . Thanks

MUEH: Well, since the data string for MRF is always created and sitting there, I think it will be: KEEP -> Retain all tabs, don't close END -> Close all tabs via END, creating and saving a proper MRF list CAN -> Close all tabs with CAN, a proper null MRF list created.
The _OPENLIST.TXT file will be created and saved for all three variations above.

Hi George ! When you do INST xx -O * KEEP in instance xx to load additional files from _INSTANCE.TXT the _INSTANCE.TXT is overwritten with files that existed and nothing happens . ( if no files existed before _INSTANCE.TXT is a Null file ) Maybe in case of -O * you shouldn't overwrite _INSTANCE.TXT if switch to same instance . Thanks

MUEH: Yeah, sensible idea. And you mean _OPENLIST.TXT BTW.
And that must mean you are modifying _OPENLIST.TXT yourself. No problem, otherwise your request doesn't make sense.

Sorry that i mixed up the name . Yes i edited _OPENLIST.TXT before . Could you also make change in
DialogStuff.inc
IF gENV.MinToTray THEN ' Minimizing to tray ti.szTip = "SPFLite" ' ti.szTip = IIF$(ISNULL(gENV.eInstance) OR gENV.eInstance = "DEFAULT", "SPFLite", "SPFLite(" + gENV.eInstance + ")")
which will display in Tip txt of system tray the Instance name . Thanks P.S. More usage of 2 Instance's on left/right side of screen is to get a SPLIT screen efect .

MUEH: Done. I don't know if this is a Win11 change, but I don't think it did this with Win10.
When you activate Minimize to tray, the icon appears in the right side of the Taskbar always, not just when minimized. And when the window is open, an Icon also appears on the left as an active window.
I'm pretty sure in Win10, the icon only appeared on the right when inimized.
If you're still on Win10, let me know how it treats it. I'll post 23295 which includes it.

George, your surmise about Win 10 and Minimize To Tray sounds correct. That's how it always worked for me, such as in MS Outlook, which is notable for having this feature.

Robert: Thanks for confirming it. It caught my eye immediately. I'm going to check if there's any new Win11 option to control it.

[UPDATE]
Turns out it was my error, wasn't doing things 'by the book'. Win10 didn't care, Win11 does.
Corrected. [/UPDATE]
