Please help me out here...
Consider the attached screen shot....
I should like to align all the light-blue 'Filetype ini....' messages.
Why does the ALIGN command (see picture) not work but issue the error message "ALIGN could not determine MAX align column"?
Before you ask... The PROFILE settings are:

PS: As an aside, should the keyword 'MAX' not be highlighted in the command line?

Thanks, and yes, I remember that time. But alas, no ALIGN macro anywhere on my system, so that's not it.

Stefan: Not sure about this, seems to work fine for me. And yes, MAX was missing from the hilight list for ALIGN. Here's my before and after screen shots. What am I overlooking? George

George: ALIGN has no problem as Stefan described on my system . I Noticed that after sucessfull ALIGN that the file is not in modified state . Shown also in your above screen shots . Shouldn't it be modified since data changed ?

Hi Guys, I'm none the wiser in terms of why I had the above issue. When George reported that it all works for him, I figured it was some 'local' issue. I prodded and poked about for a while to no avail, so I decided to re-install SPFLITE (v2.5.21285). ALIGN works as expected now.
