I have a bat/cmd file in Windows so I can start an SPFLite edit session by typing "x filename.ext" (or even a fully qualified path).
One thing I've noticed, and this may be related to profile defaults based on the Windows file extension, is that sometimes I get a different size screen -- a different number of lines and columns. Of course I can always drag an edge or corner to resize the window, but I'm wondering if there's an option or setting for a default number of lines and columns.
I tried looking thru the Help files, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. It might be like the old Yellow Pages phone books, where you had to know what they called it in the phone book in order to find it.
I don't think this is a bug, but rather my not being able to figure out how to configure SPFLite.
Kind regards,
Arnold

Arnold: SPFLite saves the screen location and size on shutdown. And restarts the next time using those values (like most applications do). Would that account for it? i.e. the screen has been re-sized / positioned while you are working on it, and then shut down in those altered locations?
But no, there is no startup option to provide size/position info.

Robert: Possibly, it's just CMD line stuff, but I have to slot it into the whole startup sequence. It's more a 'read the current sequence of events' so you know where/when to inject the overrides.

George,
I may have shot myself in the foot on this one. I had two versions of SPFLite installed for some time. The bat/cmd file would start an edit session using SPFLite version 10.2:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\SPFLite\SPFLite.exe" %1
I had to correct that to "C:\Program Files (x86)\SPFLite2\SPFLite2.exe" %1
I also uninstalled 10.2 since I prefer to use the most current version. I suspect that both versions shared folders/settings/state information in the \documents folder, which may have contributed to unexpected behavior.
That seems to make everything more consistent now.
Thanks again for all you do!
Kind regards,
Arnold

Arnold: I may add a CmdLine option anyway, it's fairly simple, and who knows who might use it.

Arnold: The latest release now has an option to specify screen size on startup.
