Hi George ! One obscure old problem occuring after 23232 permanent . (no error in 23169) The File name(s) in the UNDO control area do not appear to be valid. To reproduce Medit the attached file f1 which has null line at end of file . issue XBL all which is in SET-Edit ALIAS.XBL=NX p'^' f1 (719 B) I hope you can reproduce . Thanks for 23232 which works now with unique EFT tables for each Instance . Just noticed that if EFT-Edit is left open and creating a new entry with Popup reply causes this entry to be lost when EFT-Edit is closed without CAN . Shouldn't it check if EFT Table was modified and give a warning ? Found that in 23232 for an MEDIT session there are no UNDxxx.tmp files created in temp folder . Problem occures also for any file modifying Line cmd like D or R or modifying of Data . This looks just like an 23232 introduced error wiith MEDIT .

MUEH: Yes, the popup should check for EFTEdit being active, I'll add that.
Yes, I can reproduce the MEdit error with the F1 file (actually, any file)
There are some significant structural changes in this newest release, so these obscure things are not unexpected. Actually at the early stages of testing I was sort of amazed when I got the first edit file to actually load. For a while absolutely nothing worked.

[UPDATE]
It helps if you don't skip the allocation of the UNDO files. Another side-effect of the structural changes.
[/UPDATE]
I'll post s corrected Beta.

George: If you have an MEDIT session and restart Spflite the files in MEDIT session are opened in reverse order . addtional restart required to have them back in original order . Re-Open last file(s) at start is on . No problem in 23169 . Thanks for 23236 .

MUEH: Sigh! Also caused by structural changes. Corrected.
