Hi, Time to 'bite the bullet' and put out a proper release. I know from past experience that this normally triggers a new bug report within a couple of days but ... I want to thank all the users who participated in the Beta testing. Your bug reports, comments and suggestions are invaluable. I may grumble at the effort to resolve the issues, but we all benefit from a cleaner, and usually more suitable collection of enhancements. Thank you all again. George, it's supposed to be hard. Good software emerges from struggle.
We are supposed to argue about it - as long as the arguments are fair, are focused on the problem at hand and don't get personal.
Good software requires patience, too. There's always the temptation to say, "get it done, I'm tired of working on it and tired of talking about it". It's so important to resist that temptation.
Among large software development projects, there is a saying that "you have to make a system first, to understand what the problem is, then throw that system away and then design it correctly".
If your software results from struggle, it's a good sign that you may have done it correctly.

Thanks Robert. It's 3 days now, no bug reports - that's novel!
