Hello, Does anyone know if thinAirB.dll is a necessary file with regard to SPF macros or executing ThinBasic itself? The reason for my asking is that TrendMicro seems to think this file has a problem. If it won't cause an issue I would like to delete it. There isn't a lot of info out there regarding this file. Thank you in advance. Regards, Randall Princeton

Randall: I can't even find that file on my C: drive.
ThinAir is, I believe, an interactive IDE for thinBasic. Have you installed thinBasic separately in addition to SPFLite?
It should not be needed for SPFLite macro usage.
OTOH, anti-virus programs plague us all the time with false positives, I seriously doubt it is an infected program, but it couldn't hurt to remove it, unless you are actually using thinBasic. Where is the file located?

Hi George, thinairb.dll is located in c:\Programs Files (x86)\thinBasic\thinAir.
You are correct... I did install the ThinBasic IDE outside of SPFLite.
I will not worry about the file with regard to SPFLite macros. Thank you.

Randall, SPFLite uses ThinCore.dll to support macros, and this is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\SPFLite2\thincore.dll. So, it's different files and you won't have a wrong-version problem. SPFLite does not update the thinBasic binaries very often since they don't change that much and what gets changed is usually very obscure, the kind of stuff that macro writers hardly ever need.
Keep in mind that every time you install a new SPFLite update, it will refresh thinCore.dll with whatever the current SPFLite distribution version is. If you cared about version differences, it could be hard to keep a version installed that differed from the SPFLite distribution. If you wanted to do such a thing, you'd need to coordinate it with George.
