Robert: Well, !0 is illegal, it really should have been kicked out, I'll make sure it is.
I think the subsequent error with !1 was caused by the failed !0 leaving a trash entry in the line command touch table. This will self-correct when I kick out the !0 operand.

Robert: I've corrected the validation of !1, it now is OK on Empty files.
