I am running SPFLite v6.2.3061 under widows 8. I am editing a single file. This situation is repeatable.
I have set up bounds in the file and have comment lines such as the below.
< > /* This is a test comment that I wish to edit. */
I have assigned {TS} to PF21 (Shift-F9). I place the cursor under the "w" of "wish" and press Shift-F9. I get the following:
< > /* This is a test comment that I
wish to edit. */
What I had expected was:
< > /* This is a test comment that I */
wish to edit.
I just logged on to TSO and verified that it works there as I expected.
Thanks for your attention. Rick Humburg

Hi Rick,
My, someone who actually uses bounds. ;-)) I believe this is the 1st comment/bug ever reported with TS.
I'll have a look, and see if I can correct it before V7.0 goes out (hopefully this week)
George
P.S. Having a look at this. It appears we never supported bounds at all for TS/TB line commands. And I'm beginning to see why. This is also now complicated by the fact we now support color highlighting, which means the color hi-lights have to be split as well. All in all a very icky bit of code to fiddle with. This may not make it into the V7.0 release unless it starts cooperating better.

Thanks for looking at it. I understand about setting priorities. (I am in mainframe software support for a major software company.) At least it is not something that I missed in your documentation. It is not a show-stopper.
Back in February I asked for the prefix "&" on the command line (along with the cross-hairs.) You responded quickly, but I never went back to look. I cannot remember any special reason. It was just faster to press ENTER without having to do PF12 first. That works the same way whether I am going to modify it or not. Your (or your compatriot's) suggestion for a chain of commands looks like a good replacement. (Although I would still like to see the "&". It is a matter of not wrenching my mind from one system, TSO ISPF, during the day to another, SPFLite, in the evening.)
In any case thanks again for all your work on SPFLite.
Regards, Rick

Hi Rick,
Well, you should be happy shortly. I think I've crowbarred bounds support into TS and TB line commands. Your other requests, for & support and for crosshair cursors, are also included in V 7.0 which, barring misc. stupidities, should be released sometime this week.
