Hi,
First let me thank all the users who have recently started participating in the forums. Robert and I have commented before on the general silence and it is gratifying to see this latest involvement.
Of course a lot of the recent activity has been bug reports, the initial 8.2 release was certainly not one of the cleanest release. My apologies to all those impacted by this flurry of problems.
This release is mainly a collection of those recent bug fixes, although there are several minor enhancements that have been requested. See the Change log on the Web site for details.
Moving forward, the next full release (8.3) is underway, so my preference now for 8.2 is to only do bug corrections where there is no bypass available for the problem. Attempting to maintain two code bases in sync for these fixes is a problem, it is way too error prone. So most fixes and all enhancement requests will be incorporated into the next 8.3 release.

Just a query related to new SPFLite EXE files in general: once upon a time when one registered one received a thankyou.exe which one had to run. Is this still a requirement or has the random 'nag screen' been removed?

I don't have a problem - I just came across the thankyou.exe whilst doing a bit of tidying up and realised that I do not get a nag screen. This is a new install because I am on a new machine. But even on the old machine when I replace the .exe I no longer get nagged even though I have not run the thankyou against the new .exe. I have not discovered a place where a possible thankyou is located so that installation knows that I am already registered so I am confused!

nicc: Once Thankyou.exe is run, you do not need to run it again after any new version upgrade.
However on a new system install, you would need to run it.
Hmmm, don't tell me I've somehow 'lost' that feature. I'll have to have a look.
