Description of AUTOBKUP ON tells about an additional level of '.BAK', but this is incorrect. The inserted level is '.BKP'. I think there was a '.BAK'-level added as the last level some versions ago, as this was the DOS standard backup suffix decades ago.
But the reason why I now reread this chapter is the fact, that my Recycle-Bin is full of '.BKP.'-files with the same name (and different time, of course). So I wonder if there could be an option to avoid this move to the recycle bin and purge the .BKP.-file ? Or is this cause by my 'General Option'-setting of 'Delete to Recycle Bin ?

Jo: OK, I've corrected the Doc for AUTOBKUP, thanks for spotting it. Yes, in very old releases it was BAK, not the current BKP.
As to the recycle bin, yes the deletion of any old BKP files honors the setting for "Delete to Recycle Bin" - all deletions by SPFLite go through the same delete routine (which checks the recycle option).
