Got some file from a friend, containing Horizontal Tab character (HT = X'09') . I use XTABS 2 and the file is properly aligned, same as in V8, but the colors are weird. Looks like the color-logic doesn not honor the XTABS-setting.

Jo, I'll have a look. Shouldn't be a problem since xtabs expands the tabs to blanks as the file is read. (SPFLite does NOT maintain a file in tabbed format - i.e. when you save it back, the tabs are gone and replaced by blanks.) Maybe the 1st colorization is misplaced and being done before the XTAB replacement, that might account for it. I'll let you know.
Meanwhile I'd bet if you did a CHANGE ALL " " " " (or something similar) that would correct colorize. Worth a try.

As I suspected, colorization was being done BEFORE the tabs were expanded. Corrected for next release.
