Hello, I have defined several FileLists. I use the RECALL command frequently to get to a specific FileList. Many times I find myself wanting to specify a different Drive/Dir and mask combination, however because I'm in a FileList, SPFLite displays the FLIST and FSPEC in the same place the Drive/Dir and mask fields are displayed, furthermore the fields are protected. I have gone thru the help file looking for a primary command that would get you directly back to being able to specify the Drive/Dir and mask fields to no avail. Perhaps there is an "undocumented" command. I do know that repeatedly pressing PF3 will eventually get you back, however depending upon how deep you are into the dialog, it could be 1-n PF3 key presses until you are finally back to where you can specify Drive/Dir and mask fields. Thank you in advance. Kindest Regards, RPrinceton

If you just click on the FilePath heading at the top left (Next to the 'New' entry) you're immediately back in the FilePath display and can enter whatever path and mask you wish. Were you not aware things on that line were clickable?
Or am I missing something in your question.

Hello, Thank you for the reply. I am aware of the "selectable" line. Selecting the FilePath does provide for drive/dir and mask entry, however I would have thought that when you "recalled" a specific FList and then selected FilePath it would have presented the FilePath associated with the FList. e.g., FList WinTmp points to a list of files in C:\Windows\Temp. Command: rc WinTmp is entered. Field FLIST contains WinTmp and FSPEC contains C:\Windows\Temp. Now FilePath is selected. Instead of Field FilePath containing C:\Windows\Temp with a mask of *.* it contains the last path navigated to when in File Manager. Hope this makes sense. Thank you in advance. Regards, RPrinceton

Hello ! A FLIST can contain files in different Folders even with same filename . You should Enter DIR Line cmd (not documented at Bottom of screeen) to come to FilePath with all the files in that Folder . I use a pfk key to enter DIR which can also be used in FILE TAB Cmd Line to switch to FilePath . Hope that helps . George: What do you Think About the idea to enter DIR in _DialogStuff Right Button Up if CSR at Col 6 (Blank before Filename) in Flist Display . Would allow navigating to Filepath with mouse . Any hint how to turn off Strike Through for inserted Code ? Thanks
Shft-KP1 [dir](Enter)
Ctrl-KP1 (Home)(EraseEOL)[edit NEW](Enter)
Alt-KP1 <FMPa> (Home)(EraseEOL)[SWAP HOME](Enter)(NewLine)(Tab)[S](Enter)

mueh: I see DIR in the FM Help lines. ? Right-click for DIR - what folder would be used, the current display could contain anything? Also, I don't like messing with a special internal definition for Right-Click - it IS mappable by KEYMAP, we shouldn't just go and override that with some hard coded special handling. I've no idea on Strikethrough. Not sure how you got it there. I'll try and edit your post after I finish this one. George [Update] OK, re: Strikethrough. I edited your note, selected BBCode tab at the bottom to show all the formatting commands and noticed the code box was surrounded by [/s][/s] tags. I removed them and it now looks fine. How they got there? Who knows. George

George: Just for info . FM FLIST/FSPEC screen shows no DIR for Line cmd . All other look correct . No Need for Code Change . Mapped now RMB to [dir](Enter) and it works perfect . RMB on File Name Displays full path \ FN in FSPEC . RMB on Line CMD Area switches to FILE PATH/Name File Patterns * for the file selected with RMB Sorry that i didn't know that RMB can be remapped in KEYMAP . P.S.
To avoid BEEP for RMB on File Name set Shft-RMB [dir](Enter) Ctrl-RMB [V](Enter) with Position Cursor ON Now you can Navigate to File Path for this file with SHIFT-RMB . Ctrl-RMB can be used to select file in FM for VIEW and in edit to reset U Line status . That is realy Powerfull .

MUEH: Glad its working. Yes, many are not aware of the mapping ability of the mouse buttons.
