Hi !
When I use 'PROFILE USING ooRexx' while editing a .Rex-Program, the Profile Display shows 'PROFILE USING(OOREXX)', but this is not reflected in the Rex.INI-File (ProfUsing= still blank), but in the ooRexx.INI-File. So now the Rex.INI-File does not point to ooRexx, and the ooRexx.INI-File points to himself (ooRexx.INI has ProfUsing=ooRexx).
As a Workaround, the 'PROFILE EDIT ...' command could be used to correct the settings.
Btw, both profiles are UNLOCKED, i'm on V7.1.4001
Regards, Jo

Hi Jo,
Checked this, you're right, somethings amiss. Off to debug it.

Hi Jo, Corrected it (hopefully). The pointed to INI file (ooRexx in your case) does normally have it's own name there. The error was in NOT setting the name in the REX.INI. Always been a tricky area to work in, it's hard to keep straight just where things are pointing.
This will also be in the next fix release.

Hi George !
Thanks. Now another concern to mention: There is another fileextension .Rexx and I would like to use the same master-profile ooRexx.INI, so while editing a .Rexx file I command 'prof use oorexx' and get the error-Message 'Profile (oorexx) is already redirected via USING to (OOREXX)'. So, when the pointed to INI file hat its own name there, the errormsg should not occur.
And yes, I like this feature :-)

Hi Jo,
What you want to do is exactly what this is intended to provide. Obviously, somewhere we have lost our way, I have more work to do then since, quite rightly, the pointed to Profile cannot itself contain a USING. I'll have to go back in and get my brain working better and fix this properly.
