Robert: I tried 2.4 and 2.5. Works fine for me in both normal Edit and in a CLIP session. There's nothing in a Profile that would affect a double-click.
Send me your CFG file.

Robert: Well, this is one for the books. Two errors, one yours, one mine. Check your DEFAULT profile, and look as the WORD default. A-f a-f 0-9 - your error somehow, must have been thinking Hex. OK, somehow it's wrong, so go Edit it. Oops! Can't edit it! - My error, and a long standing one to boot, mine looks like some copy/paste booboo. Only affected WORD. Here's a corrected 2.5 so you can at least edit WORD. George SPFLite25.exe (492 KB)

Don't know. I pasted your sample data line into my standard TestData file, and used your Regex search, it seemed to work fine. It found your string and a bunch of others in my test data, stuff like (abcd) _cdef*. RFIND worked fine. George

Robert: As I said, the message is messed up, haven't fixed it yet.

Robert: OK, here's a corrected version. It also was one of those 'using the wrong variable' types, so further cleanup of some more of them was done also. This also included the fix for the FIND * bug that MUEH spotted. George Version 21139 SPFLite25.exe (492.5 KB)<<== Updated 11:33 EDT
