Hi George,
Thanks for v2.5.21238.
This version exhibits some odd/different colouring effects compared to previous versions.
In the editor, I'm seeing text that should be in "Text Lo Intensity" colour, appearing in 'Auto Colour Scheme 13".
The odd part is that it doesn't affect all Lo-Intensity text, only some. This made me think that AUTO colorisation may(!) have a hand in this effect too, but perhaps not.
Also, on the Options - Schemes page, I have an odd effect for "Auto Colour Scheme 14"
The attached screen shot which depicts my AUTO.AUTO file overlaid by the OPTION SCHEMES panel show the issues.
All the 'AUTOCAPS' 'WORD' 'COMMENTn' etc entries should be in "Text Lo Intensity" (Green) but they're not. Yet 'Text Lo Intensity' is clearly set to Green, but has also "inherited" Dark-Yellow as its BG2 Alternative colour.
AUTO Colour Scheme 14 is supposed to be Dark-Yellow-on-black, but it appears black-on-white in the options panel.
Looks like the colour scheme numbering has gone a bit awry somewhere.
Also, looking closely at the main window, I notice a thick yellow line at the bottom of the status bar beneath the 'Profile: AUTO' entry. Switching the display between open files of different file types, this line can be any length from one byte to the width of that field.

Stefan: I'll investigate the Scheme problem. I looked at my setup, but with my color choices (I use a white BG) the oddity in Scheme 14 is barely visible. Probably why I never spotted it.
The line at the bottom you see is perfectly normal. Think of it as the vertical scroll bar, laid on its side. It shows the relative size and position of the visible screen in relation to the whole file. Guess you've never noticed it before. Load a large'ish file and scroll up and down and watch it.

Stefan: OK, found it. I added new code to display the Alternate BG2 color scheme. This means establishing additional Dialog ID numbers for the new additional fields, and these are all dynamically created in a loop displaying the Scheme color lines.
I made a simple miscalculation and the last Scheme (14) ended up overlapping the assigned ID numbers for other dialog controls.
A couple adjustments to the equates and all is now well. Sorry my personal color schemes made this almost invisible in my testing. The clue should have been that Scheme 14 was even in a different font.
Thanks for reporting it.

Stefan: Would you be so kind to attach the ODEFAULT exported file to this thread . Want to create a BLACK Spflite instance without changing all color schemes SCHEME00 to 46 with dialog .
George: There is a minor problem that the BG2 text and color is not redisplayed after the change color dialog was entered . You have to leave opt cmd and reenter it to see how it looks now . Thanks for this enhacements

MUEH: Ouch! Another oversight. OK, I've added the redraw of the BG2 display to the Screen and Scheme tabs.

George,
You probably don't want to repackage another release so soon. Could you perhaps post an updated EXE and I'll check out the changes for you.

Thanks George.
As I suspected in my initial post, there's an issue with AUTO colorisation as well.
It seems that all text defined as 'WORD' in the AUTO file, is coloured correctly according to the assigned scheme number.
However, text defined as 'AUTOCAPS' in an AUTO file is (1) not capitalised AND
(2) appears in a colour 4 greater than the one it should have, thus some text receives data from the highlight range, ie colour 1 becomes colour 5, 8 becomes 12, etc.
You can follow the effect by loading the attached AUTO1.AUTO file and then displaying the Colours.AUTO1 file. For best results, use the ODEFAULT table I uploaded previously for mueh.
It should look like this

Stefan: OK, obviously I've not done too well with the last color changes. I'm losing it.
Leave it with me.
Thanks for the test data.

Stefan: Ok, corrected now. That's assuming the following is correct. Oh, BTW, your AUTO1.AUTO had me head scratching for a while. You have a minor error, check out Magenta. Here's a revised EXE for you. George SPFLite25.exe (599.5 KB)

Just a "Please".
If you spot things not working correctly in a release - Please report it. Don't assume somebody else will do it.
Testing SPFLite is really difficult, as so many features and functions are interrelated, and so many things are dependent on the settings of a particular configuration.
As well, lets be honest, I'm not being as careful as I once was. I guess at my age taking shortcuts is easier, or maybe, as I've said, I'm losing it.

Sorry, I was not online the last 2 month due to private reasons. So I missed a lot of recent enhancements and it took some hours to read and try all that new things. Thanks for these, btw. And the "vertical scroll bar" was totally new for me, I have not seen it. Because, my Status Line BG color was grey - exactly in the middle, so the swapping to complement color gives the same grey. Now I changed it a bit and yes, I like this. And another YES, it was already documented, but did not remember ...

George, Thanks - all looks perfect. I did a boo-boo in the AUTO1.AUTO file. Sorry about that. Hope it didn't waste too much of your time. (I was tempted to claim it was a test to see if your were 'losing it', but that would be both cruel and untrue )
