Observed with version 22207 (will try later beta, but I expect the same)
(1) Load a file into the editor (2) Type SET primary command and press <ENTER>
(3) Issue END (PFK3)
Cursor shouild be in position 1 of the now empty primary command line. But it it is actually in position 4 of the now empty primary command line, i.e. it is where it was after user typed SET in step (2) and before they pressed <ENTER>.
It's a SET command issue. If you assign an alias like ALIAS.abcdefg=SET and issue abcdefg in step (2), the cursor will be in postion 8 of the command line after step (3)
PS: Saw you're about to go cruising. Very impressive itinerary! Have a fabulous time being spoiled by hot & cold running cabin stewards.

Stefan: That's a problem with several commands. Going to have to look for the general cause for that.
Yes, looking forward to being pampered, well, Linda certainly is, I get pampered by her all the time.
