The Get_MaskLine$ function is documented but not implemented (thinbasic returns "Variable not defined or misspelled Keyword")
Taking a wider view, if there is a Get_MaskLine$ function, and a GET_WordChar$ function, there should probably also be functions for Get_TabsLine$ and Get_MarkLine$.
And there should probably be equivalent SET_xxxxxxx functions for each of them for macro use.
Alternatively, all four GET_xxxxxxx functions could be addressed via extensions to the Get_Profile$ function.
As an aside, at Robert's invitation, I recently reviewed the various ways the Profile values can be accessed and/or modified either by users or programmatically.
This threw up some inconsistencies and some bugs! You can see the results and recommendations/suggestions in this spreadsheet.
