When using FF to search for a string in my source code files. if I interrupt it after it has found one file with the matching string, the file manager list of files becomes unusable
for example i used this command "ff bpxwdyn" and instead of waiting to search all the hundreds of files, I waited for the search dialog box to show that it had found 2 files, I hit the interrupt button. Then I attempted to use a line command to open one of the files it found. After that the filemanager list turns white in color and i can not select / browse / edit a file from the list of files.
The error I get is "File already open in this tab".
i did not have any files open, is this due to interrupting the FF command ?

Just a reminder for George.
I would expect that he might be catching up for a while. This is not urgent.

chaat: Robert just asked if I had seen the bug reports. I hadn't, not sure how I missed them. But I have now and will have a look now. George
P.S. Just tried it. I think I found this myself a while back and corrected it in the 8.1 version I'm working on. It was ultimately caused by the interrupt not resetting something correctly and the selection of a file then trying to open it IN the FM tab.
So ... corrected ... but in the next release. I guess I really should get that moving, there's a lot of bug fixes in it.
