QUESTION REGARDING CHANGING OPTIONS IN THE PORTABLE VERSION OF: SPFLite2 Release 3.0.23088
04.14.23 I DOWNLOADED AND INSTALLED SPFLite2 I accepted all DEFAULTS AND THEN CREATED A USB FOR THE PORTABLE VERSION I had a lot of option and keyboard changes in the current version I needed to create in the PORTABLE VERSION The documentation does not say you can/can't do this but I got the sense from the Portable install create you cannot My question is can the PORTABLE version OPTIONS Be Changed. This situation came about in that I could NOt install Version SPFLite2 Release 3.0.23088 because the install would not work with my SPFLite V11.0.19235 The Welcome script could not create the files needed and I did not want to corrupt my working V11 SPFlite which I use regularly and like my customization to OPTIONS, KEYS, etc So installed SPFLite2 Release 3.0.23088 on another laptop and created the USB. If you could clarify this situation, I would appreciate it. THANKS FOR THE ASSISTANCE....

Carlos: Once you create the portable version, you should be able to customize it normally.
You should also be able to install the latest version normally, as it will install in a new SPFLite2 folder under Program Files. V11 is in SPFLite. Both should be usable at the same time using appropriate shortcuts to each.
Also, if you customize your portable version to your requirements, you should also be able to copy the SPFLite.CFG file from your portable version back to the main system, replacing the default CFG file located there (don't need to customize twice, just watch the paths to your Home and Data folders, they can be reset properly in Options => Config.
Haven't actually done that, so I'd recommend taking a backup of your SPFLite Data folder just as a precaution.
