George,
I notice that the current beta versions behave differently to the last full release when loading a file.
If you cause a file to be loaded to SPFLite, the result depends on WHETHER... (a) the action caused SPFLite to be started before the file could be loaded OR... (b) SPFLite was already running
IF (a), the file is loaded into a new tab and that tab becomes the ACTIVE tab, i.e the file's content is displayed on the screen IF (b), the file is loaded into a new tab BUT whatever tab was previously active, remains the active tab, i.e a new tab is added to the list of existing tabs but its contents is not displayed.
This happens irrespective of how you load the file, e.g: Drag it to SPFLite icon on the desktop, Drag it to an open SPFLIte window, include the filename on the SPFLite command line
Before the recent flurry of beta releases, files being loaded would always be presented to the user as the ACTIVE tab. It would be nice if SPFLite were to make the newly loaded file the active tab in every case.

Hi George ! Maybe you missed Stefan's Problem which occures since 23287 ( INST cmd ) . When single file is added with "SPFLite2 filename" to active instance it's added but you have to do a TAB switch . You should also note that old Tab ( FM or Filetab ) is dead ( no scroll possible no cmd can be entered ) untill you do TAB switch . I think we had same problem with -F where it is now solved . Thanks

Stefan, sorry, I never saw your original post. I agree, the new file should be made the active tab.
Sigh! I was hoping things were settling down.
Stay tuned.
George
[UPDATE] OK, I think dropping files on the Icon or the active screen is now back to 'normal'. I'll post a new Beta tomorrow (Tue the 7th)
[/UPDATE]
