Just reading this morning about the BACKUP and RESTORE commands. It's a really great system that you should be using if you're not already. With BACKUP, you can change things in your code with abandon, knowing that if your ideas don't pan out, or you get lost, you have a series of backups, so no worries. I think of it as a personal reversion or GIT system. The funny thing is, I've used several editors over the years, spending like 2 years in Emacs, and while some of them MAY have a similar feature, I don't remember any such feature. If you wanted to do something like this, you would (as far as I know) handle it yourself manually.
So do yourself a favor this Christmas and get yourself a BACKUP and RESTORE command. You'll be glad you did. Tell 'em Benjamin sent ya!
Just thought I'd post something to the forum to let everybody know I'm still alive and haven't disappeared.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Hi Benjamin, There's also an accessory MACRO to compliment the BACKUP and RESTORE commands. Head over to ' Macro Discussions - Contributed Macros' in this forum and look at the thread entitled BACKVIEW Directly VIEW backups of the file being edited.
I woudn't be without it these days.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
