When using CLIP with a private name, it seems to be ignored, instead, the contents of the standard windows clipboard is loaded. When ending the CLIP-EDIT, the contents is saved in myname.CLIP CUT myname and PASTE myname work as normal.
BTW, is there a way to see which clipboard-name is associated with a CLIP-EDIT-session in case there are some concurrently open?
Thanks Jo

Jo:
OK, this one fixed as well, the reset of the optional clipname was done 1 line too early. I like your suggestion regarding multiple clip-Edit sessions, so the Tab title will now shoe the name of the private clipboard if used.
The same SPFLite825140.EX_ version name was replaced with a newer replacement, so if you already downloaded 5140, please do it again.
Keep up the bug spotting, it's invaluable, for us all.

Yes, yes, YES ! Downloaded the latest 5140 and all my tests were successful. The Clip-name in the Tab title is fine, thx. New ColSum.MACRO now sets msg in browse, and adds the note lines in view, and even my macros work as designed ;-) Had some fear of contact with this "new" macro language. My BASIC-knowledge is very basic, is from the 1970th... Anyway, now I'm here and I like it. So be sure I'll continue to play around with macros :-)

Ha, here is another error, but I think it's in the doc: Get_FullPath(...) is misspelled (says the thinbasic popup). Therefore tried Get_FullPath$(...) and that works, so probably the doc should be changed.

Jo: Yes, it's a Doc.error; I've corrected it. And Robert is quite right, thinBasic is quite powerful, just with the core set of functions. The many, many additional function libraries available extend this to include just about anything you might think of.
