Hi,
Win 7 Home Premium: I make a new install with: spflite.v8.2.5165.zip
I start spflite.exe. I choose option C (right ctrl is enter, enter key is newline) (There should really a option D with both swaped) Then "done" to close Global Option Dialog.
In Filemananger, Command> Keymap Then Keymap-Window is opened.
I clicked on Enter-Key-Image (under Backspace-Key, not numpad) and replace (Newline) with (Enter). I clicked on Right-Ctrl-Key-Image and replace (Enter) with (Newline). Then I clicked on Done.
The keys are not swaped.
Best Regards Jonas

Both. The keys do not work as expected because: If I confirm in KEYMAP, the enter-key is still (Newline) and the right-ctrl-key is still (Enter).

Jonas: If going back into KEYMAP still shows the keys with the incorrect settings, then somehow the previous settings didn't 'take'. Robert's suggestion to make sure you didn't hit Cancel rather than Done seems like the only logical explanation. I just tried all this, and no problems.
Has to be some stupid answer to this. It's pretty basic stuff.

[Robert] --> The only other explanation would be that somehow the keyboard INI file got set to read only mode? Or it somehow "lives" on a drive with read-only access, like a CD rom? That would be weird. Unless there is something really bizarre going on, missing the DONE button seems like the most probable cause for this. MAYBE if the mapping for the left mouse button were incorrect? Could that do it?

This happens only after a new installation and only for the very first run of spflite.exe.
In the second run of spflite, everything works ok.
I assume that on the very first run of spflite.exe, the keyboard-file is created and then it does not work right.
Don't look at this bug, it is unimportant. Probably I am the only person who swaps Enter-key and Newline-key at the very first run of spflite.exe.
Now I start and close and start spflite after a new installation and then I swap the keys and everything works fine.

Jonas: I agree, not worth a lot of effort to locate. Please note that when new releases of SPFLite come out, you do not need to do a 'clean install', simply run the installer, it will only update the files it has to, and will leave all your previous customisations and keyboard settings untouched.
