Hi,
I am working at the command line in the current directory c:\testdir\. I open spflite with one file: spflite.exe hallo.txt
Then I close in spflite the tab "hallo.txt". Then spflite shows me the FileManager.
But the FileManager does not show me the directory c:\testdir\ but usually a wrong directory (I assume the last working directory).
Thanks Jonas

Jonas: Right now the whole command line support is more geared to supporting the drag/dropping of files onto the shortcut icon. Although it opens the file specified, it does not switch the FM defaults. I can say personally that I would not want it to do so, I prefer SPFLite to re-open FM the way I last saw it.
Maybe others could chip in with their opinions.

Then we need an option for the commandline:
exp: spflite.exe -FM hallo.txt
or after reading the documentation: Default File Open Directory Working Dir - SPFLite will use the current working directory at the time it is started....
But also with the above option set, it does not work right.

A similar problem:
I open spflite.exe at the command line: spflite *.* Spflite shows me all files in the directory. Then I do a ff command, Spflite shows me the found list. I close spflite.
I open spflite again with: spflite *.* Now spflite opens with the found list, but not all files.

I meant: Now spflite opens with the found list, but not with all files (like the first spflite *.*).
If I do "spflite *.*", I want to see all files in the directory, To show the found list from the last session is not logical. It is the same/similir problem like the one in my first message.
If I do only "spflite", I want to see the state it was in when I last closed it.

Jonas: If I'm reading correctly, you say an SPFLite *.* re-open, following a close with the Found Files list showing, displays the Found Files list again. If so, that is an error and I'll correct it.
You can tell Robert and I gave up running from the command line a long, long time ago.

You asked for info about how others invoke SPFLite so here is my 2p-worth:
from command line - never drag and drop - almost never from context menu - often from the desktop SPFLite icon - usually: and then navigate from the FM

George: That is correct.
Jonas
from command line - always (exactly from a Norton-Clone under Win7) drag and drop - never from context menu - never from the desktop SPFLite icon - never

Jonas: OK, I'll get onto looking for it.

[Update]
OK, found it, the Filelist name was being reloaded even though the Cmd line had set it. Too many layers of initialization stumbling over each other. Corrected in the next release.

Most of the time I start SPFLite from the desktop icon, because I like to have all my 10+ files reopened where I left it. Normally use FM to open new files, sometimes I drag & drop into running SPFLite. Sometimes I drag & drop file onto another SPFLite -v or -b desktop icon, just for viewing or browsing.
As I now did it with 5165, the -v or -b in the icon-definition seems to get ignored, the files were opened in an EDIT-Tab.

Hi George
> OK, found it, ... Corrected in the next release.
OK for the bug with foundlist or OK for the bug described in first message of this thread.

Jonas: corrected it not honoring the command line request and opening a previous FLIST instead.
Jo: I'll have to look at what you just reported with -v and -b . . . . . . . . Corrected. Next release.
