Hi,
After closing spflite, sometimes many files remain in my temporary directory.
18.06.2015 12:14 800.080 UNDA220.tmp 18.06.2015 12:14 20.008 UNDA221.tmp 18.06.2015 12:14 10.000 UNDA222.tmp 18.06.2015 12:14 0 UNDA223.tmp 18.06.2015 12:14 0 UNDA224.tmp 18.06.2015 12:14 0 UNDA225.tmp ... ... ...
1. start spflite at command prompt: spflite *.* 2. select some files for editing 3. now I have some tabs open 4. at a tab command prompt, close spflite with: exit 5. all tabs get closed and then spflite gets closed 6. temporary files remain
(fyi) (autosave=0 in default.ini) (Windows 7 Pro)
Thanks Jonas

Jonas: Robert: the files are the UNDO snapshots. They are supposed to be removed when the tab closes, I'll check that. But regardless, SPFLite has logic at startup to remove these files from the TEMP directory if they're more than 'n' days old (forget what 'n' is) so they will self-heal.
I'll check out why they're not going away immediately.

Jonas: Yes, there was a problem in the cleanup of these files. Corrected.
[Robert] --> George, any guess whether your fix also corrected the temp files with the unusual names?
[Update] ==> No, nothing on that at all. This was simply a missing cleanup step. Note that the early 8.3 releases (you will get one today) have Open traces active, so if you see this again, try and grab the trace log in \Documents\SPFLite
