It seems that ESCAPECHR \ does not work. Jonas

Sample: "hello\"world"
Assume quotes color is green and ESCAPECHR is \.
Now I see a green "hello" and black "world", but I would expect a green "hello\"world".

Jonas: Not to quibble, but wouldn't you expect a green "Hello"World" ? Shouldn't the escaped " be treated as just a normal text character?

Reading the docco I would expect hello"world because I assume that the "\" is being processed as an escape character not as a text character

Jonas: Yes, of course you're right, don't know what I was thinking.
Robert has been poking through the code and found the bug, so it should be corrected in the next release.
