I just tried to download and run www.spflite.com/Files/SPFLite.V8.2.5179.zip SPFLiteSetup.exe failed with this error the first time I ran it: Run-time error [ 0xC 12 ]: Undefined (empty) command [ 1377 : 561 ] '(null)'
The message appeared in a console32 like window. I tried this on WIN XP SP3 (32bit) where SPFLite had never been installed on the machine and on another machine got same result. When I ran setup a second time the problem was gone and the "Welcome to the SPFLite.V8.2.5179 Installation!" window appeared. Just curious what might cause that?

raceq: Yeah, this could be hard to spot. The error is not from SPFLite, so there's no debugging of our code involved. The error is from the Installer itself. We use CreateInstall Free as our installer.
It's not that hard to duplicate a new install, just rename the \Documents\SPFLite folder out of the way and delete the registry entry Computer\HKCU\Software\SPFLite.
I'll give it a try and see what happens . . . . OK, test done. Of course it worked perfectly.
We'll probably never know. I'll try later to do this test again on my XP virtual system, maybe it's somehow XP related.

raceq: I see you've already reported this to the CI forums. I've upgraded my version of CI to the latest, and the most recent posts in the forum indicate that a fix was applied for this (or a similar) type problem.
A test with the new version on XP showed no error this time.

I hope this helps anyone who encounters this old createinstall software bug (although unlikely) as it applies to older versions of createinstall software. Looking forward to exploring SPFlite further :-)
