All,
I'm old. I dabbled with ROSCOE when I made the mistake of going to DeVry. During an early contract at Navistar (pre-Internet) everyone had to have a mainframe account to use PROFS for email. As such, stumbling into SPF has been rather nostalgic for me. I spent the first two decades of my career mostly on OpenVMS only having to touch the blue boxes once in a while.
1. Is this an OpenSource project or more "one guy's passion"? I didn't see a link to a repo on the site.
2. Is there a Linux version floating around that I didn't stumble into? Fewer and fewer computes run Microsoft products these days. Of the near dozen computers that I own there are only two running an MS OS. One of which is rarely turned on. A .DEB and .RPM pair of packages would open this up to a new universe of users. Some of them still use Vi...ewww.
The sign-up process derailed my train of thought. I had about half a dozen questions but the rest escape me right now. These were the two most pertinent.

Hi, don't overlook that SPFLite will run under WINE quite well (apparently). I don't maintain a Linux VM system any more, but SPFLite worked on on the last one I had, and WINE has improved considerably since then.
I'd at least give it a try.
