Hi, I hope you can reproduce this bug: I have directory with two files: l1.bat and l1.dat And I have a filelist "test.flist" with the above 2 files. spflite.exe * click on lists in filemanger the first data line is: test.FLIST ..... (newline) (newline) all m (enter) # editor session is opened can (enter) all m (enter) <== invalid command ll, see picture It seems that spflite overwrites the "a", so only "ll" remains. Thanks Jonas

chaat: Robert:
Yes I see it too. When the 'a' is typed, it is displayed, but the cursor does not appear to get moved over to the next position, so the 'l' just overtypes it.
Very odd indeed, and definitely a bug. And I'm darned if I even have a clue where to start looking. Should be fun.

.4263 doesn't have it because it contains the fix. Remember, you get all the hot off the press releases.

Robert: It wasn't a matter of self-healing and I don't know what fixed it. It was a hunt it down and fix it exercise.

Robert: OK, I get your point now. No, the 1 statement fix doesn't need DIFF to find it. But there's not going to be another 8.0 release, we're moving on to 8.1.
Trying to keep fixes going in two versions always seemed to be just too much effort.
