I apologise for being picky..
Using line commands, you can Copy, Move, Repeat, etc =NOTE> lines in the data.
However, do any of those things to a xNOTE line and it ceases to be an xNOTE line and becomes a bog-standard NOTE line.
eg: Repeat a line like GNOTE> A B C and you get a line like =NOTE> A B C instead.

Stefan: You're not picky at all. Much of what you're spotting is ancient stuff that simply nobody has seen, or if they have, not reported.
